Editorial Standards
Biogenics Today is an independent publication covering recovery, wellness, beauty, aging, love, and the research science behind them. Our editorial standards guide every story we publish.
Independence
We accept no payment, gift, or consideration in exchange for editorial coverage. Advertising and sponsored content, when present, are labelled and separated from editorial. Affiliate links, when used, are disclosed.
Accuracy & fact-checking
Every claim of fact is sourced. Where a study is referenced, we link directly to the published paper, preprint, or institutional release. Numbers are checked against the primary source. We avoid second-hand summaries when a primary source is available.
Sourcing
Articles list their references at the end. Peer-reviewed research is preferred over preprints; preprints are labelled as such. Industry-funded studies are identified. We name our human sources and their relevant affiliations.
Reviewers & expert input
Articles covering medical, clinical, or pharmacological topics are reviewed by a clinician or relevant subject-matter expert before publication. The reviewer is listed on the byline.
AI disclosure
Articles drafted with the assistance of generative AI tools are labelled "AI-assisted." A human editor verifies all factual claims, sourcing, and quotes in every AI-assisted article before publication.
Corrections
We correct errors of fact promptly and transparently. Corrections are appended to the article and listed on our public corrections log. Substantive corrections update the article's "last updated" timestamp.
Conflicts of interest
Writers and reviewers disclose financial or professional ties to the subject of an article. Coverage of a sponsor, advertiser, or affiliated company is disclosed inline.
Methodology
